Needs minor super vision, like a young adult.

Bright, indirect light required.

A calm, air-cleaning addition to your home.

The Peace Lily is an evergreen tropical plant found on the forest floor in nature enjoying lower light and warm, high humidity conditions. For this reason, they make wonderful bathroom plants. They also have air-purifying abilities and is considered one of NASA's top performers according to their clean air study list.

This highly popular house plant is easy to care for and quite forgiving for a beginner. The Peace Lily will let you know when it's thirsty with a tell-tale droop of the leaves which is easily fixed. If you find brown tips on the leaves, this could be due to low humidity levels or sensitivity to the chemicals in tap water. It is also a great gift for family and friends. You will also find Peace Lilies are easily divided into multiple pots if they've outgrown themselves.

HOW TO CARE FOR THE PEACE LILY:

  • Place in a bright space with indirect light.
  • Ensure to keep the soil moist but not soaked through (allow to dry between watering but not completely).
  • The leaves gather dust easily and become dull, wipe weekly to keep their gloss.
  • These plants do well with regular misting for humidity, or place on a pebble tray filled with water.
  • Be careful, these plants are mildly toxic to pets and children.

I love this plant. I grew mine in water but it didn't have many flowers. I think it was due to the sunlight. Thanks for the tip!
